NCAA West Region Preliminary Qualifier: 2013

 Track & Field

2013 (SENIOR): INDOOR- Launched the fifth longest throw in Wichita State history with a mark of 56- 6 in the shot put at the Varsity Apartments Invitational. Won the shot put at the Air Force Team Challenge with a 56-3 throw. Placed fifth at the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships (55-7 ¾). Captured first place in the shot put at the Herm Wilson Invitational with a throw of 51-10 ½. OUTDOOR- Tossed the eighth farthest outdoor shot put mark with a 57-1 throw at the Track-It-Buster Invitational. Placed second in the shot put at both of the Shocker home meets in 2013 (The KT Woodman Classic and the Track-It-Buster  Invitational). Finished seventh in the shot put at the MVC Outdoor Championships (52-0 ½). Threw a mark of 56-6 ¾ to place fifth at the Mt. SAC Relays. 

2012 (Junior): Indoor -Threw shot put in six meets...Won the event at the Herm Wilson Invitational and at the Varsity Apartments Invitational...Mark of 55-5 1/2 at the Varsity Apartments Invitational ranks sixth all-time for the Shockers...Finished 11th at the MVC Indoor Championships ...Outdoor - Broke into the WSU all-time top 10 during his first meet of the outdoor season, throwing 55-7 3/4 in the shot put at the ESU Open...Threw shot put in seven meets, including a fifth-place finish at the MVC Outdoor Championships...Also participated in the discus at the MVC Outdoor Championships.

St. Ambrose University: Finished as a two-time conference champion and three-time NAIA national qualifier....Conference and school record holder.

High School: Lettered in track and football four years and lettered in wrestling two years at Olympia High School...Received all-state honors twice in the shot put.

Personal: Born Dec. 11, 1990...Son of Darrel and Sybil Dubree...Has one sister Claire...Majoring in exercise science.
