2018: Indoor - Competed in seven meets, including a fifth place finish in the high jump with a mark of 2.01m/6-7 at The American Athletic Conference Championships...Cleared a season best 2.04m/6-8.25 to finish second at the Pittsburg State Invitational on Jan. 27.
Outdoor - Recorded three top-five finishes...Placed second at the K.T. Woodman Classic high jump (1.98m/6-6) and Shocker Open high jump (2.00m/6-6.75)...Cleared 1.97m/6-5.5 to finish fourth at the Central Missouri Mule Relays.
2017: Indoor – Won the high jump at the Shocker Prelude with a mark of 6-6.75/2.00m...Finished eighth in the high jump (6-8.25/2.04m) at the MVC Championships.
Outdoor – Finished top five in seven of the thirteen events competed in...Won the high jump at the Arkansas Spring Invitational (6-6.75/2.00m), Friends Invitational (6-10.25/2.09m), and Shocker Open with a person best of 7-0.25/2.14m...Placed fourth in the javelin throw with a personal best 176-8/53.84 at the Friends Invitational...Finished sixth in the javelin throw and third in the high jump at the MVC Championships...Placed 29th at the NCAA West Region.
2016: Indoor - Was fifth in the high jump at the MVC Indoor Championship (6-8.75/2.05m)... Set his career best at the Mark Colligan at 6-9.95/2.07m when he placed fifth.
Outdoor - Was fifth at the MVC Indoor Championship in the high jump (6-9/2.06m) and was ninth in the javelin (176-3/53.73m), his third meet to throw the implement.
2015: Finished third or better in eight of 13 indoor and outdoor meets in 2015... Personal best indoor was 6-9 at the Shocker Prelude... Outdoor best was 6-8 three times, including at the MVC meet where he placed third and eanred All-Valley honors.
High School: Attended Goddard High School in Goddard, Kan. where he competed in the high jump....His personal best in the high jump is 6’-8”...Was the 2014 5A State Champion in the high jump and placed third in the high jump at the 2013 5A State Track meet.
Personal: Son of John Chippeaux and Julie Chippeaux... Has a sister, Courtney, and a brother, Ryan... Was committed to playing football at Hutch CC before choosing Wichita State for track and field... Majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
