SOPHOMORE (2024)
American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team... Named to the Fall and Spring Athletic Director's Honor Roll... Played in 18 games, making eight starts at shortstop... Was 3-for-14 with a double, two walks and six runs... Singled and scored in the finale vs. Tulsa (April 7)... Walked twice, doubled and scored twice vs. Tulsa (April 6)... Recorded her first hit of the season on a single vs. Illinois State (Feb. 25)... Made her first career start at Sam Houston (Feb. 9) on opening day.

FRESHMAN (2023)
American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team... Named to the Fall Athletic Director's Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA... Recorded her first career hit and RBI in Wichita State's 20-0 win at Memphis on April 6.

HIGH SCHOOL
A two-time captain and four-year starter, Hoekstra will bring experience to the infield after playing shortstop during her prep career... After hitting .484 as a junior, Hoekstra picked up all-conference second team and all-state honorable mention honors... In 2018, she was a member of the team that won Nationals, while also earning MVP honors.

PERSONAL
She is the daughter of Paul and Anita Hoekstra and has one sister: Kelsey... She is undecided on a major at Wichita State.
