AS A JUNIOR (2014)

Named to the All-MVC First Team…Named MVC Player of the Week on March 10, 2014...Named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during the Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 semesters…Named to the 2014 All-MVC Scholar Athlete First Team...Appeared and started in all 55 games…Hit .305 with 33 runs, 50 hits, 11 doubles (third on the team), one triple, three home runs, 23 RBI and 72 total bases…Had a .439 slugging percentage, led the team with 14 sacrifice hits (sacrifice bunts) and 15 stolen bases…Was second on the team with 274 putouts, fourth on the team with 41 assists and had a .991 fielding percentage.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2013)

Earned the 2013 MVC Leadership & Service Award…Named to the 2013 MVC Honor Roll…Named a 2013 NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete…Named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during the Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 semesters…Appeared in 52 games, starting 51…Hit .257 in 148 at bats…Drove in 18 runs with 38 hits, four doubles and led the team with five home runs on the season…Ranked first last season in runs scored (29), home runs (5) and stolen bases (16)…Saw the plate four times against Southern Illinois on April 6 with three hits and two runs…Her other three-hit game came against Western Carolina on March 1 where she hit a home run in the sixth to help the Shockers defeat the Catamounts 8-5. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2012)

Appeared and started in all 55 games…Hit .229 with ten runs scored, six doubles and a home run…Second on the team with 25 RBI and had a team high seven multi-RBI games…Had eight multi-hit games…Season high three RBI against Creighton April 7…Raised batting average to .253 in MVC play.  

BACKGROUND

Played at John Horn High School in Mesquite, Texas…Earned three letters in softball and three letters in volleyball…Two-time first team all-district honoree…Named the district MVP and all-state following her senior season campaign…Hit .483 and led her team in batting average, hits, sacrifices, and on-base percentage her senior season…Hit .714 with five hits, four RBI, two doubles, and scored 5 runs in the district final playoffs her senior season…Earned first team all-district honors after her junior and senior volleyball seasons…Graduated with a 3.98 GPA, was a member of the National Honor Society and named academic all-state…Three-time academic all-district honoree in both volleyball and softball.

Born on January 25, 1993 in Houston, Texas to Neil and Kate Jaegers…Has one sister, Kasie…Majoring in Exercise Science.
