Wilson made nine appearances over two seasons in Chapel Hill, tossing 13.2 innings and recording a 3-1 record... As a true freshman for the Tar Heels, Wilson went 2-1 with victories over Longwood and Louisville.

Out of Friendswood High School, Wilson was a three-time all-district and all-county selection... As a senior she was named the 18-5A District MVP, while also earning all-state honors... She was the 2023 Friendswood High School Female Athlete of the Year.
