Pitched in four games for the Jayhawks before sustaining a season-ending injury...totaled 7.1 innings, allowing eight hits and seven runs while striking out 11 against five walks...struck out a season-high four batters twice, first in his season debut against Illinois-Chicago on February 17 and again in his first start of the season against Texas Southern on March 2.

2023 Junior
Named the American Athletic Conference Newcomer Pitcher of the Year after leading the conference with a 2.55 ERA as Wichita State's Sunday starter...finished 5-4 in 14 starts...logged 77.2 innings, including seven starts of six or more innings...tossed a complete game shutout against #7-ranked East Carolina on April 23...struck out a season-high 11 batters against Utah Tech on February 25, allowing just one hit over 6.0 innings of work...was twice named American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week (February 27 and April 24)...finished the season with 75 strikeouts against just 23 walks...walked two or fewer batters in 11 of 14 starts...held opponents to a .248 batting average...named to AD Honor Roll in Spring 2023...named to AAC All-Academic Team.

Cowley College (2021-22)
Named First Team All-Region VI, First Team All-KJCCC and the KJCCC East Division Pitcher of the Year after leading Cowley to a runner-up finish at the 2022 NJCAA Division I World Series...went 12-2 with a 3.18 ERA over 87.2 innings as a sophomore...struck out 85 while issuing just 16 walks...had a stretch of four starts from April 21 through May 11 in which he threw 23.0 innings and allowed just 10 hits and one run, winning all four starts...did not take a loss in his first 28 collegiate starts...made the start in the national championship game and allowed just two earned runs over 5.2 innings...was a Second Team All-Conference selection as a freshman...went 7-0 with a 3.60 ERA, striking out 73 in 60.0 innings of work...finished his career 19-2 in 31 starts.

High School
Played football, basketball and baseball at Derby High School in Derby, Kansas...starting quarterback for three seasons for powerhouse Panthers football program, helping Derby reach three consecutive Class 6A state title games...a two-time Wichita Eagle All-Metro selection on the diamond, striking out 65 in 41.2 innings as a junior.
