FRESHMAN (2025)
American Conference All-Academic Team... Named to the Fall Athletic Director's Honor Roll... Became the full time catcher midway through the season... Started 35 games and racked up 21 hits, five doubles, one home run, 19 RBIs and scored 16 runs... Hit a ground-rule double in the quarterfinals of the AAC Championship vs. North Texas... Singled and stole a base at Memphis on May 3... Had an RBI single in the run-rule win vs. Kansas City on April 22... Singled, walked, scored a run and drove in a run in the series opener at Tulsa on April 17... Hit a double at Oklahoma State on April 15... Drove in a pair of runs vs. East Carolina on April 11... Tied a season high with three RBIs vs. South Florida on March 30... Had one hit in all three games of the South Florida series... Went 1-for-3 with a single, walk and RBI in the shootout with #2 Oklahoma on March 26... Doubled and drove in a run in the series finale at UTSA on March 23... Posted her first multi-hit games of the season in back-to-back games at UTSA... Hit her first career home run in the series finale vs. North Texas on March 16... Scored a pair of runs, drove in a pair of runs and doubled vs. North Texas on March 15... Recorded her first career hit at Kansas on March 12, while also driving in a season-high tying three RBI... Made her collegiate debut on Feb. 8 vs. Colgate.

HIGH SCHOOL
Gabby Scott comes to Wichita State with catcher and outfield experience at the prep level... She's coming off a senior campaign where she hit .393 with 14 runs, 35 hits, six doubles, two triples, three home runs and 30 RBIs... Scott earned First Team All-District and First Team All-County honors... As a true freshman she picked up First Team All-District honors behind eight doubles, 20 RBIs and a career-best .439 batting average... In the classroom, Scott was named Academic All-District all four years.

PERSONAL
She is the daughter of Garvin and Cassandra Scott, and has five brothers and sisters: Alyssa, Laila, Mia, Gerard and Caden... Her sister, Mia, was a standout on the softball team at the University of Texas... Scott plans to major in child psychology at Wichita State.
