Fakes had her freshman season at Wisconsin cut short due to injuries and illness, making only three appearances.

HIGH SCHOOL
At Beaver Dam High School, Fakes was a four-time first team all-conference and four-time first team all-district selection and a two-time all-state honoree... Over her four-year high school career, she logged a .537 batting average at the plate and more than 400 strikeouts in the circle to go with a 0.89 ERA... She helped Beaver Dam to four regional championships, three conference championships and one state tournament appearance... Aside from softball, Fakes was a four-year starter on the volleyball team and a member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL
She is the daughter of Jacob and Jessica Fakes and has one brother (Owen) and one sister (Kendall)... She plans to major in health science at Wichita State.
