Appeared in 45 games in his first season with the Shockers, earning 42 starts (41 at catcher, one at designated hitter)...hit .202 with four doubles, one triple, four home runs and 20 RBI...started every conference game for Wichita State following the season-ending injury to Max Kaufer, including five games in four days at the American Conference tournament...led the conference and ranked 26th nationally with 10 sacrifice bunts, highlighted by a single-game program record with three sacrifices against East Carolina on April 19...threw out 17 opposing base stealers, including four games with two runners caught stealing...homered and drove in five runs against Butler on March 14...powered the Shockers to a win against Rice on April 26 with two hits, including a home run, two RBI, two runs scored and his lone stolen base of the season...homered in the American Conference tournament against Memphis on May 22...delivered a legendary performance the following day to propel Wichita State into the semifinals, going 5-for-6 against UAB with two doubles and a home run...named to American Conference All-Academic Team.
