Homered in each of her first two games as a Shocker vs. Stephen F. Austin and Sam Houston (Feb. 9) on opening day.
GRAND CANYON
Wong appeared in 45 games, making 18 starts in her lone season at Grand Canyon... She hit .290 with five doubles and seven RBI.
McLENNAN COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Prior to Grand Canyon, Wong spent two seasons at McLennan Community College and was the 2022 NJCAA Division I Co-Player of the Year... She led the nation with a .580 batting average, ranked third with 91 RBIs and fourth with 27 home runs... Wong racked up numerous accoloades, including: NTJCAC First-Team All-Conference, NTJCAC Offensive Player of the Year, NJCAA All-Region V, NJCAA Division I National Championship All-Tournament Team selection, NJCAA Most Outstanding Offensive Player, NFCA West All-Region and NFCA First-Team All-American... As a freshman in 2021, she was named the NTJCAC Offensive Player of the Year, NTJCAC First-Team All-Conference, NFCA All-American Second Team and NFCA All-Region West Second Team... In 55 games for McLennan, Wong recorded 78 hits, 17 home runs, 20 doubles, two triples, 54 runs scored and drove in 66 RBI. She had a slash line of .481/.558/.944.
