Biography

As a Junior in 2011:
Named a member of the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete honorable mention squad after carrying a 3.89 GPA in Biology... Appeared in all 57 of the Shockers' games with 55 starts in left field... Hit .238 on the year with 31 hits, three doubles, one home run, and 15 RBI in 130 at bats.. Also scored 18 runs on the season... Drew a team-high 24 walks and had a .359 on-base percentage... Finished the season with a .941 fielding percentage with 78 putouts and two assists... Went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run scored against Seattle... Was named Shocker Athlete of the Week following her performance at the UCSB Tournament... Went 1-for-2 against #19 Texas Tech with a double and an RBI... Scored the Shockers' only run against North Texas on March 6... Went 1-for-2 with an RBI, three walks, and scored two runs in the win against Western Illinois on March 23... Drew two walks and scored one run in the Shockers' 4-3 win over Illinois State on March 26... Hit .600 in the series against Tulsa as she went 3-for-5 at the plate... Drew two walks and scored two runs in the come-from-behind win over Drake on April 9... Went 1-for-2, scored two runs, picked up two RBI, and hit her first career home run as a Shocker in the win against Creighton on April 17... Picked up a hit in the Shockers' upset over #18 Oklahoma State... Hit a two-out double in the eighth inning to drive in the go-ahead run in the extra inning win over Missouri State... Went 2-for-3 and picked up two RBI in the win against Bradley on May 8... Named to the AD's Honor Roll following the Fall Semester of 2010 of Spring Semester of 2011.

As a Sophomore in 2010:
Appeared in 37 games with 18 starts... Hit .153 with nine hits, four doubles, 2 RBI, and scored three runs... Finished the season with a .220 slugging percentage and .231 on base percentage... Had two hits and scored two runs against Central Arkansas... Made five plate appearances with two hits against Texas Arlington... Named to the AD's Honor Roll following both the Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 semesters.

As a Freshman in 2009:
Appeared in 24 games with 14 starts in left field and five starts in right field while battling an ankle injury midway through the season… Hit .261 with four doubles and six RBI… Drew 10 walks and was hit by a pitch twice to contribute to her .414 on-base percentage… Scored her first run against Portland St., and recorded her first hit against nationally-ranked Nevada... Hit .308 with a .471 on-base percentage in Missouri Valley Conference play… Had a .972 fielding percentage, recording 34 putouts, one assist and one error on the season… Named to the AD’s Honor Roll both semester and was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll following the Fall 2008 semester.

In High School:
Attended Santa Fe High School in Edmond, Okla... Played under head coach Rhonda Lawson... Lettered in softball and basketball... Led the Wolves to the state tournament all four years including a state runner-up finish her junior year... Named all-conference three years... Named Oklahoma Big all-city two years... Was the SFHS offensive player of the year all four years... Named by The Oklahoman as the offensive player of the week after hitting .670 in the 2006 state tournament... Was a member of the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society and was on the National Honor Roll all four years.
