Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete... American Conference All-Academic Team... Named to the Fall and Spring Athletic Director's Honor Roll... Became Wichita State's No. 2 arm of the pitching staff... Finished her freshman campaign 7-7 with a 4.86 ERA in 86.1 innings... Appeared in 31 games, making 13 starts... Tossed two complete games and recorded one save... Allowed only 16 walks all season... Her 1.30 walks per 7.0 innings ranked 20th nationally... Threw a complete game at Memphis on May 3, allowing two runs on seven hits, no walks and three strikeouts... Allowed only one run on three hits in 5.0 innings of work vs. Kansas on April 30... Recorded her first career save vs. Charlotte on April 26... Surrendered just one hit in 3.0 innings vs. Kansas City to earn the win... Gave up no earned runs on four hits in a win over East Carolina on April 12... In 3.0 innings of relief vs. #2 Oklahoma, she allowed no earned runs on three hits, two walks and two strikeouts... Earned a win vs. Central Arkansas in 4.1 innings, allowing no runs on just two hits with two strikeouts... Threw her first career 7-inning complete game vs. North Texas on March 15... She allowed no earned runs on seven hits, one walk and two strikeouts... Struck out a season-high four batters vs. Bowling Green and allowed no earned runs on four hits in 3.0 innings... Was stellar in the start vs. #8 Florida State in the Clearwater Invitational through the first 4.0 innings... Earned a no decision, allowing three earned runs on eight hits, one walk and one strikeout... First career start came on Feb. 8 vs. Montana, going 2.1 innings, allowing no earned runs on three hits... Made her collegiate debut in the season opener vs. Northern Illinois (Feb. 7), tossing 2.0 innings of scoreless relief.

HIGH SCHOOL
Sliger is coming off a decorated and prolific career for Tupelo High School... She struck out nearly 1,000 hitters in her prep career... In 596.1 innings, Sliger had a career ERA of 0.94 with 934 strikeouts and only 58 walks... She registered 43 shutouts and had six no-hitters to her name... She holds the school record for strikeouts and helped lead Tupelo to its first state title in school history... Tupelo went 30-4 on the way to a state title, while racking up a tournament championship, district championship and regional championship... As a senior, Sliger went 27-4 in the circle with a 0.9 ERA, 284 strikeouts to only 19 walks, 14 shutouts and a no-hitter... At the plate, she hit .633 with six home runs and 34 RBI... Sliger earned all-state honors and was named to the South Central All-Star Team... Off the field, Sliger is involved with National Honor Society, Indian Honor Society, Oklahoma Honor Society, STUCO, FFA and was named to the Superintendent's Honor Roll.

PERSONAL
She is the daughter of Chris and Jessica Sliger, and has one brother, Eli... Sliger plans to major in business at Wichita State.
