Wyatt Ebersole begins his third year with Wichita State Athletics in 2025-26 as the graduate assistant in the strategic communications department.
Ebersole directly oversees communication efforts for four Shocker sports. Those being men's tennis, women's tennis, men's golf, and women's golf. He also serves as the secondary media contact for the Shocker softball team.
Ebersole came to Wichita State after previously serving as both the assistant and interim sports information director for three years at Butler Community College in El Dorado. From December of 2022 through the summer of 2023, he served as the primary contact for all 10 Butler sports teams during that period, including coverage of five different NJCAA National Tournament teams in that time.
He is also in his fourth season as an MiLB Official Scorer for the Wichita Windsurge, a Minor League Baseball organization.
A native of Derby, Kan., Ebersole graduated with his bachelor's degree in sport management from Wichita State in 2024. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in sport and leadership studies at WSU and will complete his degree in the spring of 2026.
