Softball America Freshman All-American... NFCA All-Central Region Third Team... American Conference Player and Freshman of the Year... Became the first player in American Conference history to earn Player and Freshman of the Year honors in the same season... First Team All-Conference... All-Freshman Team... Named to the Fall Athletic Director's Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA... Started 49 games between First Base, DP and Third Base... Hit .359 with 29 runs, 52 hits, 11 doubles, 14 home runs, 50 RBIs and 37 walks... In conference play she led the league in batting average, on base percentage, slugging percentage, hits and RBIs... Walked three times and scored three times to go with a single vs. Memphis on May 1... Hit the third of her three grand slams on the season vs. Memphis on April 30... In the series opener at North Texas on April 24, she was 4-for-4 with a double, home run and four RBIs... She hit the game-winning three-run home run at Kansas City on April 22 in the top of the seventh... Homered twice and drove in four runs at Charlotte on April 18... Recorded her first career multi-home run game vs. UTSA on April 11 behind a pair of home runs and a season-high six RBIs... Went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI vs. Tulsa on April 4... Doubled twice in a win over Tulsa on April 3... Belted a solo home run in the finale at South Florida on March 29... She was 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and two walks in the 11-inning opener at South Florida on March 27... Set a season high with four hits vs. Florida Atlantic on March 21... Was a perfect 3-for-3 with a solo home run in the series opener vs. the Owls on March 20... Her season really took off with the UAB series, March 13-14... In the opener vs. the Blazers, she was 3-for-4 with a double, home run and three RBIs... Hit her first career home run, a walk-off grand slam, vs. Creighton on Feb. 21... Her first four career home runs completed the home run cycle in reverse order, hitting a grand slam, three-run home run, two run home run and a solo homer... Recorded her first multi-hit game vs. South Dakota on Feb. 20... Notched a hit in each of her first four games to begin her career.

HIGH SCHOOL
Woody, a 5-foot-8 shortstop from Westphalia, Mo., joins the Shockers after a very successful high school career competing for the Comets... Woody is a power hitting shortstop that mashed 44 home runs in her high school career... She hit .503 for her career and hit .560 in her most recent season... She is a four-time all-district and all-region selection and is a three-time all-state selection... She was ranked as the No. 1 infielder and the No. 3 hitter in the Midwest for the class of 2025... At Fatima High School, Woody holds multiples records... Including, most homers in a career (44), most homers in a season (16), most doubles in a career (56), most career walks (96) and most walks in a season (32)... Outside of softball, she is the National Honors Society Treasurer at Fatima and has a perfect 4.0 GPA.

PERSONAL
She is the daughter of Chuck and Christina Woody and has a sister, Kailey... Her mom played collegiately at Oklahoma Panhandle State University. Woody plans to major in health science at Wichita State.
