Joan Grosset joins the Wichita State men's tennis staff as the graduate assistant coach for the 2024-25 season.

Grosset comes to the Shockers after serving as the full-time assistant at the University of Nebraska - Omaha for the 2023-24 season under head coach, Matthew Barlow. In his lone season with the Mavericks, Grosset helped lead the team to a 12-11 record and helped coach two players to the 2024 All-Summit League Men's Tennis Team in Bryan Kuntz and Ryoma Mishiro.

Before Omaha, Grosset played college tennis for four years at Emmanuel University, an NCAA Division II school in Franklin Springs, Georgia. 

While competing as a Lion, Grosset helped his squad to the highest national ranking in team history when they were ranked 48th in 2022. Grosset totaled 25 singles wins and 26 doubles wins as a Lion and he was a four-time ITA All-Academic selection while at Emmanuel.

A native of Chambery, France, Grosset graduated from Emmanuel in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in sport management.
