Alexandra Lazarova begins her sixth season of involvement with Wichita State tennis.
A four-year WSU letter-winner, Lazarova joined Colin Foster's coaching staff in 2021-22 and will add men's tennis responsibilities to her plate in 2022-23, serving as graduate manager for both programs while pursuing a master's degree in sport management.
Lazarova earned her bachelor's degree from WSU in December, 2021, majoring in exercise science with a minor in sport management. She also holds certificates in physical education and physical education weight training.
A native of Roznava, Slovakia, Lazarova was a three-time ITA Scholar-Athlete for the Shockers from 2017-21. As freshman, she helped WSU to a first-round NCAA tournament victory and a No. 32 ITA national team ranking.
