Career Summary:
WSU's first five-year walk-on of the 13 scholarship era... Finished as one of the most successful players (by parentage) in NCAA history, participating in just one defeat in four seasons on the active roster (a Dec. 17, 2016 loss to Oklahoma State at INTRUST Bank Arena). Took part in 63 Shocker wins for a career percentage of .984... Forever linked to fellow walk-on, John Robert Simon. The pair played four years together and were the only seniors on WSU's 2016-17 team that finished 31-5 and swept the MVC's regular season and tournament titles... Team won MVC regular season crowns and advanced to NCAA Tournament play in all four of his seasons on the active roster, going 122-20 overall... Was also a redshirt on the 2013 Final Four team... Scored 16 career points in 154 minutes to go with 22 rebounds, 12 assists and eight steals... Graduated in the spring of 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management.

2016-17 (Senior): Non-scholarship player who once again provide quality depth for the Shockers in his fifth season with the program… One of just two Shocker seniors in the 2016-17 class alongside fellow walk-on, John Robert Simon... Logged 55 minutes over 21 games and tallied eight points, eight rebounds, five steals and four assists... Won the MVC's Elite 18 Award as the Arch Madness championship game participant with the highest cumulative GPA... Also earned the Shelly Cox/ KAKE-TV Academic Leadership Award... Made the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in both semesters and finished the spring with a 4.0 GPA... Had a memorable Senior Night, finishing with two points and two assists in six minutes to close out a 109-83 win at Evansville... Played a season-high eight minutes in the MVC quarterfinal win over Bradley... Made his final on-court appearance as a Shocker in the last minute of the Arch Madness championship game against Illinois State.

2015-16 (Junior): Appeared in 16 games off the bench, totaling five points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals 37 minutes… Saw three minutes of action in the season opener against Charleston Southern (Nov. 13) and scored two points to go with a pair of rebounds… Played a career-high seven minutes and sank the first free throw of his career against Nevada (Dec. 22). It was the last of 44 free throws made by the Shockers on the evening, breaking a 30-year old school record… Knocked down two more free throws to close out a home win over Bradley (Jan. 23)…

2014-15 (Sophomore): Suffered a stress fracture in early January and was inactive for the final 20 games of the season… Saw time in three non-conference games, totaling 11 minutes of action… Tallied two rebounds and an assist… Named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the Fall Semester.

2013-14 (Redshirt Freshman): Logged time in 24 games off the bench, totaling 51 minutes… Hit a three-pointer in the season opener against Emporia State for his first career points… Saw a season-high eight minutes in a Jan. 14 home win over Bradley… Season totals included three points, eight rebounds, four assists and one steal…

2012-13 (Freshman): Redshirted at WSU in 2012-13 ... A non-scholarship player who signed with Washburn, but decided to enroll at WSU.

High School: Averaged 22.8 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists at Eisenhower High School in nearby Goddard… Signed with Washburn in April but decided to walk on at WSU during the summer... Played in the KBCA All-Star Game, scoring seven points… Named to the Wichita Eagle’s All-Class 5A team,and The Topeka Capital-Journal All-State Second Team as a senior… Career highs were 34 points and 18 rebounds… As a high-jumper, holds the Goddard High and Eisenhower High school record at 6-foot-8… Attended the latter his first three years before finishing his high school career at the brand new Eisenhower HS.
