At WSU: A late addition to the roster as one of four non-scholarship players.
High School: Lettered four years in basketball for coach Jeff McCollough… Named All-Texomaland and All-District as a junior and senior… Averaged 10 points and five rebounds for the Bearcats… Career highs were 37 points, eight rebounds, 11 assists and four steals… As a sophomore helped his team to its first playoff win in 52 years, and as a junior the Bearcats reached the regional finals… His teams were 106-36 in four years, averaging 27 wins a year.
Personal: Son of David and Antoinette... Jones was born March 19, 1992, in Sherman, Texas... Has a younger sister, Stachia… Also recruited by Stephen F. Austin, The Citadel and UT-Tyler ... Is majoring in Athletic Training at WSU.
