Biography
2020-21 (Junior):
Former JUCO All-American saw time in nine games as a reserve point guard… Averaged 2.1 points and 1.1 assists in 8.2 minutes-per-game and totaled four steals… Younger brother of WSU senior Trey Wade. The pair became the first sibling duo to play together for the Shockers since 1989 and just the fourth in the program’s modern era...Saw time five of WSU’s seven December games and averaged 3.8 points, 1.4 assists in 11.6 minutes but appeared in just four more games the rest of the way… Contributed six points and three assists in his Division I debut against Oral Roberts (Dec. 2)… Dunked twice against Newman (Dec. 30), becoming the shortest Shocker to throw down in a game since 1976 when the NCAA reinstated the slam dunk… Finished with a season-high eight points in the Newman game to go with three steals in 13 minutes... Fall 2020 Athletic Director’s Honor Roll qualifier... Entered the transfer portal in March, 2020.

Junior College:
Second Team NJCAA Division I All-American at Georgia Highlands College (Rome, Ga.)… GCAA/Region 17 Player of the Year… No. 83 on jucorecruiting.com’s top-100 list…  Originally signed with Eastern Kentucky in the Fall of 2019 but reopened his recruitment in March…  Averaged 17.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals… Hit 66 threes on 34.6 percent accuracy… Started all 32 games and helped the Chargers to a 24-8 record and a runner-up finish at the Region 17 tournament… Logged 13 games of 20-or-more points, including a season-high 34 in the season opener… Coached by J.J. Meritt… Played his freshman year at South Plains College (Levelland, Texas) alongside older brother Trey and the pair helped SPC to a 28-6 record and a run to the NJCAA semifinals.

Helped lead Montverde Academy (Orlando, Fla.) to a 35-0 record and the 2018 GEICO National Championship… Won the 2018 Beach Ball Classic Dunk Contest in Myrtle Beach… Began the competition with a high toss that he corralled after it bounced off the court for a one-handed windmill dunk, and secured his title by leaping over his 7-foot-1 teammate, Balsa Koprivica, for a dunk… Coached by Kevin Boyle.

Born Feb. 22, 2000… Son of Nelson and Tiffany Wade… Has three brothers and one sister… Oldest brother, Antonio, played at Oklahoma Baptist and now plays professionally overseas… Plans to major in business at WSU.
