After four years as a Wichita State student manager, Britton Stutts transitions to the role of graduate manager in 2022-23.
Stutts’ responsibilities with the Shockers include assisting the coaches with day-to-day activities, conducting individual workouts with players, coordinating recruiting visits, helping with team meals, assisting with all video aspects and overseeing the undergraduate team managers.
In May 2022, Stutts earned his bachelor’s degree from Wichita State, majoring in sport management while minoring in communications. He’s currently pursuing a certificate in education.
Stutts’ time at WSU includes a run to the 2019 NIT semifinals and an American Athletic Conference regular season title and NCAA tournament bid in 2021. He was elevated to head manager for the 2021-22 season.
The Alabama native has been around high-level hoops for much of his life. While attending Mountain Brook High School, Stutts served as a student-assistant for the Spartans’ nationally recognized basketball program, working under current Samford head coach Bucky McMillan. The team won back-to-back state titles (2017, 2018) in Alabama’s largest classification.
During his down time, Stutts enjoys golf and travel. He hopes become a teacher and/or coach.
