Career Summary: Over a span of 132 games from 2001-06, developed into one of the program's most accomplished centers with 1,317 career points, 724 rebounds and 63 blocks... Helped the 2006 Shockers end an 18-year NCAA Tournament drought that year, later defeating Seton Hall and Tennessee to reach the Sweet 16... A 2013 Pizza Hut Shocker Sports Hall of Fame inductee... One of just four Shocker individuals to earn MVC Player of the Year honors, joining Antoine Carr (1983), Xavier McDaniel (1984, 85) and Fred VanVleet (2014, 16)... Honorable mention all-conference as a junior and first team All-Valley as a senior in 2006 when he averaged 13.1 points and 6.6 rebounds on his way to honorable mention AP All-America honors... In February of 2006, scored a career-high 30 points in front of a national television audience on ESPN2 to lift WSU past four-time defending MVC champion Southern Illinois... Delivered a buzzer-beating tip-in on Feb. 22 at Drake to lift WSU to a 60-58 victory and secure a share of the program's first MVC regular season title in 23 years... Part of a Shocker resurgence in the early 2000s. As a redshirt freshman in 2002-03, helped end a 14-year postseason drought for the program with the first of three consecutive NIT bids... Part of two NIT wins in 2005 -- the program's first postseason victories since 1989... Sidelined by a broken foot just three games into his true freshman season, resulting in a medical hardship (a major blow for the 2001-02 Shockers but a win for the 2005-06 team)... Played professionally for eight seasons in Europe, with stops in Germany, Poland, Russia, Turkey and France... Retired following the 2013-14 season.
