Redshirt Junior (2006-07): PJ Couisnard led WSU in scoring seven times, in rebounding 10 times and in assists a team-leading 13 times and was named all-Valley Honorable Mention for the second-straight season... His 13 dunks were second to Phillip Thomasson’s 15 dunks, while his 20 double-figure scoring games were second to Kyle Wilson’s 23...Three times he scored 20 or more points...With 39 blocks as a junior, he has 74 career blocked shots which is seventh all-time at WSU... He also has 100 steals in his career and is tied for ninth on the WSU career chart..He led six Shockers in double-figures and tied a career-high with 21 points in just 22 minutes against UMES...He was a perfect 8-for-8 from the field, including 1-for-1 from behind the arc...He missed two games and three starts due to illness and injury as he battled pain in his thumb through the end of the season after dislocating it Jan. 20 at Bradley... In the Bradley game, he put the thumb back in place himself, then returned to the game, and played with a soft cast and then tape...He re-injured his thumb Feb. 16, but still played against Appalachian State the next day. Earlier in the season, he suffered food poisoning right before the game against New Mexico on Dec. 22 in the Las Vegas Classic and did not play, then did not start against USC.

Redshirt Sophomore (2005-06): Named All-Valley Honorable Mention, Valley All-Defensive Team, and recognized for his effort as the Pontiac Game-Changing Performance in First/Second Rounds in Greensboro...Averaged 14 points in WSU’s first two NCAA Tournament games, which included 20 points against Tennessee....When Couisnard led WSU in rebounding against Bradley at home with a career-high 13 boards, it marked the second-highest total for WSU...He had four of WSU’s 10 double-figure rebounding games ...His career-high 13 boards against Bradley had marked the third time until then that he led WSU in rebounding... The 13 tied with Ryan Martin’s 13, and second only to Paul Miller’s 15 against Texas Southern..Couisnard scored a career-high 21 points in WSU’s lone win for the week against Miami (Ohio) in the return trip from BracketBusters Saturday...Couisnard scored 11-straight points after the RedHawks came to within one with nine minutes remaining to give WSU a 10-point lead...He shot 58.3 percent (7-12) from the field in the game and had four rebounds, two assists, one block and three steals...PJ was 9-of-9 from the field, 1-of-1 from the three-point line, and 7-of-7 from the line in WSU’s first two games to average 13.0 points a game, but made half his shots (4-of-8) against Texas Pan-American to fall to 62.5 percent...He averaged 10.7 points in WSU's three NCAA Tournament games.

Redshirt Freshman (2004-05): The Houston native excelled toward the end of his first collegiate season by averaging 9.6 points a game in the three NIT games, which included 13 points against Western Kentucky in Wichita and 11 points at Vanderbilt...He scored in double-figures eight times, while the 13 points against WKU matched his career-high set against Bradley and Illinois State earlier in the season...Couisnard’s 51.9 percent from the field for the season was fourth-best field goal percentage by a freshman.

High School: Named the Greater Houston District MVP and first-team all-region...Lettered two years in basketball and one in soccer...Averaged 27.8 points per game, 6.4 rebounds per game and 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals...Helped his team to District championships as a freshman and junior when the squad went to the third round of playoffs for head coach Jake Yates...Career-high performances were 41 points, 17 rebounds, 12 assist and six steals on separate occasions...
