At WSU: The freshman has gained 16 pounds since signing with the Shockers and “has tremendous length and athleticism for a point guard,” according to Coach Marshall, and can “guard positions one through four.”
High School: Named 2008 SCISA Player-of-the-Year while helping his team to four-straight state titles from 2006-09… Named all-region three seasons from 2006-08 and all-State in both 2007 and 2008…Earned first-team Charleston Post and Courier honors in 2008…Averaged 14.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 5.0 steals at Pinewood Prep High School in Sommerville, S.C., for head coach Pat Eidson...Helped the Panthers to the Bahamas Tournament title with a 5-0 record…Was named the top freshman point guard coming into the MVC for the 2009-10 season by Rivals.com…Averaged 12 points and seven assists as a junior…Game highs were 26 points, 14 rebounds, 14 assists and eight steals.
