Biography


Career Summary: Walk-on point guard who played two seasons for the Shockers (2016-18) after transferring from McLennan Junior College... Appeared in 23 games and totaled 10 points, nine rebounds and nine assists in 61 minutes of action... Earned a degree in communications from WSU in May, 2018.

2017-18 (Junior): Saw action in seven games and totaled three points, four rebounds and six assists in 28 minutes of court time... Played a career-high nine minutes in the Nov. 28 win over Savannah State, finishing with two points, two assists and a rebound... Logged seven minutes in the season opener against UMKC and snagged two rebounds... Responsible for running the scout team offense during practice... Pesky on-ball defender.

2016-17 (Sophomore): Appeared in 16 games in his first season as a Shocker… Totaled seven points, five rebounds and three assists in 33 minutes of action… Logged a season-high four minutes on three separate occasions against South Carolina State (Nov. 11), Eastern Shore (Nov. 20) and Southern Illinois (Jan. 24)… Had field goals against Long Beach State (Nov. 13), Eastern Shore (Nov. 20) and Oklahoma State (Dec. 17)… Tallied his first point in conference play with a free throw in the Jan. 21 home win over Southern Illinois.

Previous School: Played the 2015-16 season at McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas and helped the team to a 27-5 finish and a No. 9 national ranking… Team reached the NJCAA National Tournament for the first time in 18 years and advanced to the second round… Appeared in 24 games off the bench… A 78 percent free throw shooter… Finished the year with a 1.4 assist-to-turnover ratio.
 
Prep School: Averaged 18.4 points and 8.0 assists per game in 2013-14 at Westwind Preparatory Academy in Phoenix, Arizona…
