Career Summary:
Four-year walk-on who earned a scholarship shortly before the start of his final season... Appeared in 85 games as a reserve point guard from 2013-17... Career totals include: 83 points, 36 assists, 32 rebounds, 15 steals in 323 minutes... Had a 1.50 career assist-to-turnover ratio, with a 2.55 ratio over his final two seasons (28:11)... Broke in as a freshman point guard behind All-American Fred VanVleet on the 2013-14 team and saw mop-up duty in 25 games during the team's historic 35-0 start... Improved with each year in the system and evolved into a helpful behind-the-scenes leader as an upperclassman... Forever linked to fellow walk-on, Zach Bush. The pair played four years together and were the only seniors on WSU's 2016-17 team that finished 31-5 and swept the MVC's regular season and tournament titles... Team won MVC regular season crowns and advanced to NCAA Tournament play in all four of his seasons on the active roster, going 122-20 overall... WSU was 80-5 (.941) when he saw action... Graduated in May, 2017 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship.

2016-17 (Senior): After three seasons as a walk-on, was awarded a scholarship in late October of his senior season… One of just two players who saw court time for the 2013-14 undefeated squad (along with fellow walk-on Zach Bush)… One of just two Shocker seniors on the 2016-17 WSU roster (Bush being the other)... Saw time in 21 of the 36 games... Totaled 24 points, 10 assists, nine rebounds, seven steals in 92 minutes and was 5-of-10 from three point range... Provided one of the more memorable Senior Night performances by a Shocker, going 3-for-3 from deep during the final minutes of a 109-83 win over Evansville. Nine points was a career-high... Scored five points in a Battle 4 Atlantis quarterfinal rout of LSU... Logged a season-best 13 minutes in the MVC quarterfinal win over Bradley... Made his final Shocker appearance in the final minute of the Arch Madness title game against Illinois State.
2015-16 (Junior): Saw an increase in playing time in his third season as a preferred walk-on… Earned the coaching staff’s trust due to his knowledge of the system and ability to protect the basketball, allowing him to earn more minutes outside of garbage time… Appeared in 25 games off the bench and averaged 1.3 points as a reserve… Was pressed into extended duty in November with starting point guard Fred VanVleet sidelined by injury and performed well. Between Nov. 13 and Dec. 5, averaged 8.3 minutes per game with three steals and a strong 10:2 assist-to-turnover ratio… Shared the team lead with three assists in the season-opening win over Charleston Southern (Nov. 13) and scored four points on 2-of-4 shooting… Played in all three AdvoCare Invitational games with VanVleet on the shelf… Checked into the nationally-televised quarterfinal opener against USC (Nov. 26) and immediately drilled a three-pointer… Set career-highs at Saint Louis (Dec. 5) with four assists and 16 minutes… Scored a career-high six points in the Dec. 22 win over Nevada… Made a first-half cameo in WSU’s NCAA Tournament win over Arizona (March 17).
2014-15 (Sophomore): Made big strides in his second season as a preferred walk-on… Appeared in 14 games at the point guard spot… Tallied 13 points, seven rebounds, five assists and four steals in 49 minutes of action… Matched his career-high with five points in eight minutes in a win over Missouri State on Feb. 7 and contributed two steals…
2013-14 (Freshman): WSU’s “closer” at point guard… Appeared 25 times off the bench for a combined 66 minutes with 14 total points, eight rebounds and three assists… Went for a season-high five points by connecting on 5-of-8 free throws against DePaul in the semifinals of the CBE Classic at Kansas City’s Sprint Center.
High School: Lettered four years in basketball, three in football and three in golf at Putnam City North in Oklahoma City… Averaged 15.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.3 steals as a point guard… Two-time honorable mention Big All-City in basketball… Career-highs included 30 points, 15 rebounds, 12 assists and eight steals… A member of National Honor Society… In football, named District 6A-3 Quarterback of the Year, All-Metro Conference and Honorable Mention Big All-City as a senior.
