Attended Owasso High School in Owasso, Okla…Lettered four years in baseball and one year in football…Named a Louisville Slugger High School All-American twice…Earned a 2014 Rawlings Gold Glove Award…Named all-state…Member of team that advanced to the state tournament three times and won it during junior season…As a junior, went 9-0 with 91 strikeouts and a 1.29 ERA…As a sophomore, went 6-2 with a 1.85 ERA in 53 innings pitched…In 2013, helped his team to a 36-0 season along with regional and state championships and a No. 3 ranking by USA Today.
