Named one of Collegiate Baseball Newspaper's National Players of the Week for Feb. 17...Made four starts, compiling a 2-1 record with a 4.26 ERA...Gave up nine earned runs on 16 hits with two walks and team-high 33 strikeouts in 19 innings...His 33 Ks ranked fifth in The American...In his WSU debut Feb. 14 at Northwestern State, he threw five innings of no-hit baseball with five walks and 13 Ks...His 13 Ks at Northwestern State were the most in a single-game since Cale Elam struck out 13 at Bradley on April 12, 2013...Was second in the conference and 12th in the nation with 15.63 strikeouts per nine innings pitched.

Finished the 2019 season at Rose State as the NJCAA leader in strikeouts (137) and strikeouts per nine innings (16.81)…Compiled a 6-1 record with a 2.70 ERA in 73 1/3 innings and 12 starts in 2019…Named NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American.
 
High School
Was a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter, and a team captain as a senior for head coach Billy Jack Bowen at Silo High School...Was an all-state pitcher, and the Oklahoma Class 2A Player of the Year in 2017…Was a member of state championship teams in 2015 and 2017, and state runners-up in 2014 and 2016…Also was an all-conference basketball player in 2016 and 2017.

Son of Scott and Billie Hamilton…Has two brothers, Jarris and Patch…His father, Scott, played baseball at Oklahoma, and his brother, Jarris, played baseball at Seminole State College…His uncle, Eddie Hawkins, played football at Wichita State from 1982-86…Plans to major in biology at Wichita State…Was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 21st round of the 2019 MLB Draft.
