Career Summary (2012-14):
Consensus 2014 All-American and two-time first team All-Missouri Valley Conference pick was leading scorer on two of the most-successful teams in Shocker history and an NBA Draft pick… Helped WSU to the 2013 Final Four and to the first 35-0 start in NCAA history the following year… 6-foot-8 forward was a matchup nightmare for opposing coaches with a combo of height, athleticism and shooting touch that allowed him to score from anywhere on the court… As a senior averaged 16.4 points and 5.9 rebounds, knocked down 66 threes on 37.5 percent accuracy, and converted 151 of 179 free throws (.844)… Helped the Shockers sweep the MVC’s regular season and tournament titles in 2014 while climbing as high as No. 2 in the national polls… Just the fifth Shocker to earn consensus All-American status and the first in nearly three decades. Garnered second team All-American honors from the NABC and USBWA and third team plaudits from the Associated Press and was a finalist for the Lute Olson and John Wooden national player of the year awards… Despite playing just two seasons, finished with 1,135 career points – third-most by a Shocker in a two-year span behind Xavier McDaniel and Dave Stallworth… Career averages include 15.1 points and 5.7 rebounds… In seven career NCAA tournament games, tallied 19.3 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.0 block… Prior to WSU was a two-time NJCAA Division III national player of the year at Sullivan County CC… Selected 34th overall by the New York Knicks (WSU’s first draftee since 1987) in the spring of 2014 and played parts of two seasons for the franchise.

2012-13 (Junior):
Scored his 30th double-figure scoring game of the season against Ohio State with 12 points and backed that with 24 points in the National Semifinal game against eventual National Champion Louisville to be named to the Final Four All-Tournament team… It was his sixth 20-plus scoring game and with the 10 rebounds against the Cardinals he collected his fourth double-double of the year ... Moved back into the starting lineup for the last three games for a total of 22 starts ...  Had double-figures in four of five NCAA games ... His fifth 20-plus scoring game came against Pitt, then backed that with a team-leading 16 points against Gonzaga ... Named to the All-Valley First Team, All-Newcomer Team and Newcomer of the Year ... WSU’s leading scorer got his first start of the season after Orukpe’s ankle injury and started 18 games before coming off the bench against Missouri State and leading the team in scoring ... Started just four of the last 15 games ... Also came off the bench Illinois State when he scored five of WSU’s last eight points, including the game-winning three with four seconds remaining in the come-from-behind victory, and at Indiana State when he scored a team-leading 19 points ... Against SIU in Wichita, he scored 39 points, the most for a Shocker since Xavier McDaniel in 1985, which earned him his fifth MVC Newcomer of the Week honor... The 39 was also the fifth-most by a player in the NCAA at the time... Earned MVC Newcomer of the Week three-straight weeks, and six overall ... He earned his first double-double of the season with 20 points and 10 rebounds against Charleston Southern, and his second against Missouri State with 17 points and 11 rebounds ... Led team in scoring 15 times and in rebounding 11 times, including four-of-five NCAA Tournament games ... Played 22 minutes off the bench with 10 points in the season opener ... Then-season-high came in the title game of the Cancun Challenge with 25 points to earn tournament MVP honors, while season-low was two points at Tennessee... 
 
Junior College: 
Junior College: Two-time NJCAA Division III Player of the Year in 2011 and 2012, and an NJCAA All-American... Two-time Region XV player of the year and Basketball Coaches Association of New York junior college player of the year in  2012… As a sophomore for Sullivan (N.Y.) County Community College, he  averaged 24.2 points and 10.7 rebounds for the Generals, which went 28-4 overall… Averaged 20.4 points and 11.4 rebounds for Sullivan as a freshman while shooting 57 percent from the field and 78 percent from the free throw line… He helped his team to the Region XV championship, a third place finish in the National Tournament and a 30-5 record as a freshman.

Averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Pine Bush [N.Y.] Bushmen as a senior… At Mt. Zion academy in North Carolina he averaged 24 points and 11 rebounds per game... Won national tournament and was named MVP...
