Biography
2018-19 (Freshman):
Enrolled at WSU in the summer of 2018 and appeared in four games as a true freshman… Totaled three points and three rebounds in 20 minutes… Transferred prior to the start of the spring semester.
Prep School:
Four-star recruit, per ESPN… Three-star grades from Rivals and 247 Sports… Enjoyed a late growth spurt and elected to take a prep year in 2017-18 to continue his development… Split time between Beckley Prep in West Virginia and Sunrise Christian Academy near Wichita… Visited WSU in October, 2017 and attended the school’s annual kickoff event, Shocker Madness… Committed to WSU and inked a letter of intent on the first day of the fall signing period over finalists Butler, Dayton and Virginia Tech.
High School:
2017 graduate of Fern Creek High School in Louisville, Ky.… Averaged 16 points as a senior and earned all-state nods from the Louisville Courier-Journal (second team) and the Lexington Herald-Leader (third team)… 6thRegion Player of the Year… Led the Tigers to their first-ever state tournament appearance and a 35-3 record… Team won 21-straight games before falling in the state semifinals… Coached by James Schooler… Selected for Kentucky’s East-West All-Star game… MVP of the Louisville Invitational Tournament… Played summer basketball for the Louisville Magic.
