Explosive leaper who appeared in 43 games over two seasons as a Shocker (2016-18)… Totaled 78 points, 31 rebounds, 19 assists and eight steals in 247 minutes… 79.3 percent foul shooter (23-of-29)… Helped WSU to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances and the 2017 Missouri Valley Conference regular season and tournament titles… 2017 Shocker Madness Slam Dunk Champion... 2017-18 (Sophomore): Appeared in 18 games off the bench and totaled 31 points, 14 rebounds, six steals in 127 minutes of action… Went 13-of-15 at the foul line (.867)… 11 assists with just six turnovers for a solid 1.83 ratio… Played a personal-best 21 minutes in a lopsided win over Savannah State on Nov. 28 and finished with four points and two assists… Scored eight points on 3-of-4 shooting and dished out a career-high three assists in the Jan. 7 win over USF… Collected three more dimes on Jan. 11 at ECU to go with a pair of steals in 12 minutes of action…. With starter Landry Shamet sidelined by illness, gave the Shockers a major lift in the Feb. 21 win over Tulane with 11 points (7-of-7 free throws), two assists and two steals in a career-high 19 minutes of action… Won the slam dunk contest at Shocker Madness with a perfect score in the final round.
2016-17 (Freshman): Appeared in 25 of the 36 games in his first season as a Shocker, averaging 1.9 points in 4.7 minutes... Summer stress fracture cost him valuable summer and preseason reps… Cleared to practice in early October but spent most of the year playing catchup behind a talented group of guards… Played a season-high 14 minutes in a Nov. 29 win over Southern Nazarene and finished with four points... Earned more playing time late in the year, logging time in 14-straight contests from Jan. 21 through the end of the MVC Tournament… Hit his season-high of six points on four occasions… Best stretch came Jan. 21 and 24 when he scored six points in back-to-back games against Indiana State and Southern Illinois while averaging 8.0 minutes… Scored six points in a Feb. 4 rout of Illinois State, capped by his first collegiate dunk – an alley-oop from John Robert Simon... In three games at Arch Madness, totaled two points and two rebounds in 10 minutes…

Prep School: Played a prep year at powerhouse Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H… Ran the point guard position for the first time and learned important lessons in controlling the game, leading teammates and knowing every spot in the offense… Helped lead the Bobcats to a 25-9 finish, a league championship and a quarterfinal appearance at the National Prep Championships… In late January, banked home a 35-footer at the buzzer to give Brewster an 81-79 victory over Northfield Mount Hermon… Starred in a viral video on youtube in which he leaped and kissed the rim…
High School: Played his senior season for WSU assistant Kyle Lindsted at Sunrise Christian Academy near Wichita… Earned three stars from both ESPN and Rivals and was considered a top-20 shooting guard by ESPN prior to reclassifying to the class of 2016… Also drew interest from Utah, Nebraska and Long Beach State… A standout performer for a Sunrise program that has cranked out more than two-dozen Division I signees over the last two years… Served as team captain… Named MVP of four-different tournaments as a senior, including the prestigious Marshall County Hoopfest and the Kentucky Blue Grass National Championship (which Sunrise won)… As a junior in 2013-14, led Patterson Mills High School in Baltimore to a Class 2A State Semifinal appearance…
Personal: Full name is Chadwick Keyser Jr… Born Feb. 6, 1997 in Baltimore, Md.… Son of Chadwick Keyser Sr. and Tracey Oliver… Has one brother, Christopher (28) and one sister, Jessica (27)… Got a late start with basketball, playing his first season of organized ball in seventh grade… Entering high school, was accepted to the prestigious Baltimore School of Arts as a percussionist, but turned it down to pursue basketball.
