This past season for the Flyers, Heard played in 36 games, making six starts... He averaged 6.6 points and 2.4 rebounds on 44 percent shooting from the field and 37 percent shooting from beyond the arc. He scored a career-high 16 points vs. nationally ranked BYU on Nov. 28... Heard logged nine games of 10 or more points and his 26 made three-pointers were fourth most on the team.

As a true freshman for the Wolfpack, Heard scored 28 points and grabbed 20 rebounds, appearing in 24 games.

High School
Heard reclassified to the 2024 class out of high school, playing his final high school season at Homewood Flossmoor High School where he was an All-State honoree and a First Team All-Conference member... He averaged 16.9 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game to lead the Vikings to a 33-4 record and the Illinois Class 4A State Championship... He recorded a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds in the state title game to earn the game’s MVP.
