2024-25 (Freshman / Fresno State)
Amuneke played in 29 games as a true freshman for the Bulldogs, including six starts... He averaged 7.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and nearly one steal in 21.2 minutes per game... He shot 40.7 percent from beyond the arc, but saw that percentage increase to 42.3 percent (30-for-71) in conference play... All 10 of his double figure scoring games came against conference foes... He scored a season-high 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds on 7-of-11 shooting vs. San Jose State on Feb. 4... He closed the season making multiple three-pointers in 11 of the final 14 games... Amuneke was a season-best 4-of-5 from long range at Nevada on Feb. 10... He reclassified to the 2024 class, and was expected to redshirt the 2024-25 season, but due to injuries, the Fresno State coaching staff and Amuneke decided to remove the redshirt... He was the 14th-youngest player on a Division I roster last season.
High School
Amuneke played his final three seasons of prep basketball at Rancho Christian School and was the 2024 Ivy League Player of the Year... He was a key piece to helping the Eagles to back-to-back Ivy League Championships. Coming out of high school he was rated a 3-star prospect and the 29th-ranked player in California according to 247Sports.
