2015 Cross Country: Ran four meets, including the MVC championship when she finished 50th with a time of 18:44.3 in the 5K… Was ninth at the J.K. Gold Classic with a time of 15:03.4 in the 4K… Also ran at Pre-Nationals and the Chile Pepper.

2014 (SOPHOMORE): INDOOR- Recorded a pair of third place finishes in the 800 meters at the Herm Wilson Invitational and WSU Varsity Apartments Invitational... Also placed third in the mile at the Prairie Wolf Indoor Invitational. OUTDOOR- Came in second at the KT Woodman Classic in the 1500 meters... Finished third in the 800 meters at the SFA Skecher's Carl Knight Invitational with a time of 2:16.14.

Freshman (2013-14): High finish was sixth at the Emporia State Invitational with a time of 19:53.92 in the 5K race ... Ran in six races, with best 6K time at the Woody Greeno when she ran 24:27.1 and finished 60th ... Her best 5K time was the ESU Invitational, while her best 4K time was 15:37.03 at the J.K. Gold Classic when she finished 24th.

Douglass High School: Was a four-year letter winner in cross country, basketball and track...Earned fourth in the cross country state championships in 2009, second in the cross country state championships in 2010 and 2011, and 17th in cross country state championships in 2012...Honorable mention all-league from 2011-2013...Second team all-league in 2011 and 2012...Was part of the Douglass High School 2010 3A track runner-up team, 2011 3A track team third place team 2011 and 2012 3A state cross country championship teams...Member of Academic All-State in cross country from 2011-2012, National Honor Society, High Honors Roll and Leader of the Pack.

Personal: Born May 15, 1995 and is the daughter of Mark and Gayle Wright...Has two sisters, Savannah and Suzie ... Savannah is also on the team ... plans to major in nursing at WSU.
