2020-21: Indoor – Did not compete in a Shocker uniform. Outdoor – Ran at eight meets … Qualified for the West Regional in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and took 14th, barely missing out on a trip to Nationals … Was named the AAC Women’s MVP for scoring the most team points … Won the conference title in the 3,000-meter steeplechase … Was the runner-up in the 5,000 meters at the conference meet to earn all-conference honors … Took fourth in the 1,500 meters at the AAC Championships, barely missing out on all-conference honors … Won the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the John McDonnell Invitational with a season-best time of 9:58.39 … Earned three more individual victories … Didn’t finish worse than 14th in the races she completed.

2019-20: Cross Country - Ran in five races in her senior season for the Shockers … Finished as the conference runner-up, earning another all-conference award after crossing the line in a season-best 20:29 and outkicking Caitlin Klopfer of Tulsa … Took 31st at the Midwest Regional … Also finished as the runner-up at the JK Gold Classic … Finished 39th at the Bill Dellinger Invitational … Took 60th at Pre-Nationals … Finished as the second-best Shocker in every meet she ran. Indoor - Had a fantastic year in her final indoor season as a Shocker … Was named the AAC Most Valuable Performer after scoring 21 team points at the AAC Championships … Defended her Mile conference title, commanding the race and finishing with a season-best time of 4:51.24 … Won the AAC title in the 3,000 meters after outckicking Hannah Miller of SMU in the final laps to win another individual conference title … Anchored the Shockers’ distance medley relay team that scored a team point with an eighth-place finish … Was the fastest collegian in a field full of professionals at the UW Invitational in the 3,000 meters where she ran a personal-best time of 9:16.80 … Added victories in the Mile at the Triangular and Husker Invitational … Won the 1,000 meters at the Jayhawk Classic and set the Anschutz Pavilion record with a time of 2:49.87 … Ran in the 5,000 meters at the BU Season Opener and ran a personal-best time of 16:33.29 … Finished as the runner-up at the Trinagular in the 1,000 meters … Competed in a field with professionals and other elite collegians at the Iowa State Classic in the invitational section of the 3,000 meters and took seventh. Outdoor - 2020 season canceled.

2018-19: Cross Country - Finished top-5 in three of the five races entered...Won the J.K. Gold Classic 4K with a time of 13:48.3, becoming the first athlete to win the race in four consecutive years...Finished fifth at the 30th Annual Chile Pepper 5K with a personal best time of 17:00.3...Was a member of the American Athletic Conference championship team, earning all-conference honors with a third place finish...Finished 17th at the NCAA Midwest Regional. Indoor - Competed in 10 races, finishing top-3 eight times...Opened the season on Dec. 1, finishing fourth in the Boston University/Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener 3000m with a time of 9:36.36...Won the Hawkeye Invitational mile clocking in at 4:53.06...Recorded two top-3 finishes at the KU/KSU/WSU Triangular on Jan. 18, won the mile in 4:56.71 and placed third in the 800m in 2:14.07...Won the Pitt State Invitational 3000m with a meet and facility record time of 9:26.76...Recorded the fourth fastest 3000m time in Shocker history of 9:21.75 in the highly competitive Husky Classic in Spokane, Wash.,...Won the Women's Most Valuable Performance award at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships scoring 22.25 points. She anchored the distance medley relay team to gold with the third fastest time in school history of 11:32.19, individually she won the mile (4:49.60) and 3000m (9:32.45). Outdoor - Ran in seven different meets...Won the Herm Wilson Invitational 1500m (4:30.45) to open the outdoor season...Placed sixth in the 3000m steeplechase (10:09.94) in a highly competitive Stanford Invitational meet...Won the 110th Drake Relays 1500m race with a time of 4:24.76, also placed 10th as a member of the distance medley relay team (11:46.82)...Scored 22 points at the American Athletic Conference Championships earning the Women's Most Valuable Performance Award. Won the 3000m steeplechase (10:14.19) and also earned all-conference honors finishing second in the 1500m (4:28.82), placed fifth in the 5000m (17:01.21)...Set a school record and American Athletic Conference all-time record finishing 11th in the NCAA West Regional 3000m steeplechase with a personal best time of 9:53.92...Made her first NCAA Outdoor Championships appearance finishing with first team All-American honors in eighth place of the 3000m steeplechase in 9:57.80, ran the 11th fastest preliminary time of 9:57.06.

Summer 2018: Competed in the USATF Outdoor Championships...Ran a school record 10:00.59 in the prelims of the 3000m steeplechase, finished 13th in the finals with a time of 10:04.45.

2017-18: Cross Country - Redshirted and competed unattached...Won the J.K. Gold Classic with a time of 13:39.6. Indoor - Redshirted and competed unattached...Won the Shocker Prelude 800m (2:13.12) and the Herm Wilson Invitational mile (4:48.35). Outdoor - Redshirted and competed unattached...Finished second in the 3000m steeplechase (10:29.00) at the K.T. Woodman Classic and placed third in the 400m hurdles (1:05.56) at the Shocker Open.

2016-17: Cross Country- Won the Missouri Valley Conference individual title at the Walters Ridge Golf Course in Cedar Falls, Iowa, in a 5K time of 17:24.8... Twice named MVC Athlete of the Week... Won the J.K. Gold Classic for the second-straight year in a 4K time of 14:09.8...Finished 15th at the NCAA Midwest Region Cross Country Championships. Indoor – Six first place finishes, including three personal best times in the 800m (2:12.38), Mile (4:45.75), and 3000m (9:36.13)...Won the Mile and 3000m at the MVC Indoor Championships to earn All-Valley honors. Outdoor – Won the 5000m at the K.T. Woodman Classic...Ran a personal best 16:17.69 in the 5000m at the Drake Relays...Won the 5000m and finished second in 3000m steeplechase and 1500m at the MVC Outdoor Championship to earn All-Valley Honors.

2015-16: Cross Country -  Named the Valley Freshman of the Year and All-MVC after finishing eighth at the MVC Championship with a time of 17:18.9, which was her WSU personal best… Also won her first two collegiate races, the J.K. Gold Classic (4K) in a time of 14:13.9 and the Woody Greeno (6K) in a time of 22:09.0… Finished her first cross country season with a 28th-place at the Midwest Regional with a 6K time of 21:07.0, her WSU personal best. Indoor – First place finishes in the 1000m at the Kansas State Invite, 800m at the Mark Colligan Memorial, and 3000m at the Herm Wilson Invitational...Finished second in the mile at the MVC Indoor Championships. Outdoor – Won the 3000m steeplechase and 800m at the K.T. Woodman Classic...Finished second in the 3000m steeplechase and fourth in the 1500m at the MVC Outdoor Championships...Placed 23rd at the NCAA West Prelim Round.

High School:  Four-time Iowa 1A State Champion in cross country for Griswold High as a home-schooler... Holds the 1A State Track and Field Record with 11 gold and four silver medals... Holds the state 1,500 meter record in 1A... Helped her cross country team to a third-place finish her freshman season, first as a sophomore, seventh as a junior and third her season year for her dad, who is the cross country coach... Lettered four years in cross country and four years in track and field... Also won the Drake Blue Mile Road Race in 2010... Her best times were 4:28 in the 1500 meters, 9:56 in the 3000 meters and 2:10 in the 800 meters. 

Personal: Daughter of Jeff and Lori Topham... Has two brothers, John and Daniel, and a sister Joanna... Father, Jeff, and uncle, Greg, both ran at Hutchinson [Kan.] Community College and at Emporia State...Majoring in sport management.
