Career Summary: Three-year starter who made the MVC All-Defensive team as a junior in 2017… Often assigned to the opposing team’s top scorer… Appeared in 130 games (11th on WSU’s all-time list) with 89 starts… Became the 25th Shocker to hit 100 career threes… 739 career points, 351 rebounds, 152 assists and 80 steals… Closed his career as one of nine Shockers to participate in more than 100 career victories (joined by teammates Shaquille Morris, Rauno Nurger and Rashard Kelly). WSU was 104-26 when he saw action… Helped WSU to a three MVC regular season titles, the 2017 MVC Tournament Championship and five NCAA Tournament wins in four trips (highlighted by his steal and dunk in a Round of 32 win over Kansas in 2015 that lifted the Shockers into the Sweet 16)… The team spent 48 weeks in the AP Poll over his last two seasons, climbing as No. 3 in December, 2017.
 

2017-18 (Senior): Appeared in 32 games with 28 starts and averaged 4.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists in just over 20 minutes per game…Shot a career-best 81.1% from the foul line (30-of-37). In 18 AAC games, he was a near-perfect 20-for-21 (.952)…Sported a career-best 1.5 assist-to-turnover ratio (57:38)… Set a career-high with four steals to help key a comeback from 18 points down in the second half to beat Cal (Nov. 20) in the Maui Invitational quarterfinals… Hit four three-pointers (a career-best) on five attempts in the Maui championship game vs. Notre Dame (Nov. 22) and set season-highs for points (14) and minutes played (33)… Tweaked his knee in practice the following week and missed the following game vs. Savannah State (Nov. 28), ending a streak of 84 consecutive games played… Battled through injuries over the next month but managed 10 points and a season-high eight rebounds to key a comeback win over South Dakota State (Dec. 5)… Connected on all three of his attempt from deep in a 13-point effort vs. USF (Jan. 7)… Had 10 points, five assists in a home win over Tulsa (Jan. 28)… Went 6-for-6 at the foul line on his way to 11 points, four assists and four steals at Memphis (Feb. 6)… Hit 20-consecutive free throws from Jan. 4 through the end of the regular season before an 0-for-2 effort vs. Temple (Mar. 9).
 
2016-17 (Junior): Averaged 7.4 points and 3.2 rebounds in 36 games… Made 30 starts… Named to the MVC’s All-Defensiv e Team for the first time… Finished with 12 dunks… Logged 24 steals… Averaged just over a three-pointer per game (38 in 36 contests) while shooting at a .345-clip from three… Scored in double-figures on 12 occasions…Went 3-of-4 from three and scored 11 of his 15 points in the second half against Tulsa (Nov. 16)... Scored nine of his team-high 16 points in the second half to help WSU pull away at Colorado State (Dec. 2)… Briefly lost his starting spot in late November but scored 13 points on 4-of-5 shooting in his first game as a reserve against Southern Nazarene (Nov. 29), helping WSU set a school record with 63 total bench points... Led the Shocker scoring with 17 points in the win over Oklahoma at Chesapeake Energy Arena... Dished out a season-high six assists to go with 10 points in the win over South Dakota State (Dec. 22)… Had eight rebounds and limited Indiana State’s top scorer to a 3-of-14 from the field in the MVC opener on Dec. 28... Scored just 12 points in three MVC Tournament games, put matched that total in WSU’s NCAA Tournament opener against Dayton, when he shot a perfect 3-of-3 from beyond the arc... Started both NCAA Tournament contests and averaged 10.5 points and 6.0 rebounds while hitting 5-of-6 three-point attempts… Finished with nine points and eight rebounds against Kentucky in the second round…

2015-16 (Sophomore): Built on a solid end to his freshman season by moving into the starting lineup as a sophomore… Started 31 of the 35 games, including 29-straight to finish out the year… Averaged 6.7 points and 2.9 rebounds while playing 19.2 minutes per contest… Embraced the defensive-stopper role vacated by departed defensive player of the year Tekele Cotton and was one of the keys to a WSU unit that led the nation in scoring defense (59.0)… Platooned with 6-8 freshman Markis McDuffie, and the two long, athletic small forwards teamed up to shut down some of the Valley’s top scoring guards… Tied with McDuffie for third on the team with 27 steals… Had an up-and-down year from beyond the arc (26-of-85, .306) but was an efficient finisher around the rim, sinking just over 63 percent of his shots (46-of-73)… Had a streaky scoring year, with a pair of notable hot-stretches…Over a seven-game period from Nov. 29 to Dec. 31, scored in double-figures five times, including a team-high 14 points in a win over No. 25 Utah at INTRUST Bank Arena… Went 11-of-12 from the foul line in a win against Nevada (Dec. 22) helping WSU set a new school record for free throw makes in a game (44) and tie a conference and school record for total attempts (62)… Reached double-figures on just four other occasions after Jan. 1, with three of those coming in the same week when he went for 11 against NM State (Feb. 15), 16 vs. Missouri State (Feb. 18) and 11 at Indiana State (Feb. 21) as WSU rolled to three-consecutive 30-point wins…  Career-high 16 against Missouri State (Feb. 18) was fueled by four dunks. The team finished with 10 total in a 99-68 rout of the Bears…  Set season and career highs with eight rebounds (twice in losses to UNI on Feb. 13 and March 5), four assists (Jan. 9 at SIU) and three steals (Feb. 9 at Drake)… Had a strong December, averaging 10.5 points on 58 percent shooting… Started all 18 conference games and averaged 6.9 points…
 
2014-15 (Freshman): Earned the team’s Most Improved Player Award at WSU’s end of season banquet… Averaged 3.3 points and 1.4 rebounds in 10.5 minutes per contest while shooting 42.3 percent from three and 51.8 percent overall from the field… After playing sparingly through the non-conference schedule, worked his way into the rotation as a key reserve during MVC and postseason play… Played two of his best games during the NCAA Tournament, tallying season-highs for scoring (11), rebounding (8) and minutes (23) in an opening round win over Indiana. Followed with seven points in the Round of 32 victory against Kansas… Provided a memorable hustle play to spark the win over KU when he forced a steal, scrambled for the loose ball and out-sprinted everyone to the other end for a transition slam… Averaged 6.7 points in 16.0 minutes over the three NCAA games… Saw time in each of the last eight contests after missing four games with a concussion (Feb. 7 to Feb. 17)… Tallied just 31 minutes and saw time in just five of the first nine games of the regular season before bursting onto the scene during the Diamond Head Classic. After scoring just three points all season against D-I competition up to that point, he went for 10 vs. Loyola Marymount, nine in an overtime win over Hawaii and had seven more in the championship vs. GW. Went 5-of-6 from three and 7-of-9 at the foul line over the three games… The DHC performance kicked off a stretch that saw him play double-figure minutes in 8 of the next 11 games… Scored his first collegiate points against Newman on Nov. 23 with a nine-point, six-rebound day…
 
Prep School: Played the 2013-14 season for the post-graduate team at Sunrise Christian Academy in nearby Bel Aire, Kan… Saw extensive time at the point guard spot for the first time in his career… Averaged 16 points per game.
 
High School: Attended Klein Collins High School in Spring, Texas before transferring to South Kent School in South Kent, Conn... Averaged 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds for the Cardinals during the 2012-13 season… Ranked as a three-star prospect by Rivals.com and a four-star by Future150… Played summer basketball for Texas Pro… Recruited by Texas, Washington and Providence, among others… Was the first member of the Class of 2014 to verbally commit to WSU, back in May of 2013
