Wichita State Athletics

At 7-foot-2, Berg will be tied for the tallest student-athlete to put on a Shocker uniform in the fall, joining Ron Smith (1970-71). He is only the seventh 7-footer on record in program history. 

2025-26 (Redshirt Junior)
American Conference Sixth Man of the Year... Named to the American Conference Championship All-Tournament Team... Second straight double-double came on the road at UTSA (March 1) with 10 points and 12 rebounds... Added his team-leading seventh double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds at Memphis (Feb. 26)... In a double OT win at ECU (Feb. 18), he tallied 12 points and 9 rebounds... Put up 12 points and 7 rebounds - 5 offensive - in a huge home win over Tulsa (Feb. 14)... Notched his sixth double-double with 10 points, 13 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 steals vs. South Florida (Feb. 11)... Set a new career high with 16 points at Tulsa (Feb. 1)... Produced a 10-point, 10-rebound, 4-assist double-double in the win over Memphis on Jan. 24... Pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds, including eight on the offensive end, and blocked a career-high 4 shots at South Florida (Jan. 18)... Team-high 14 points and 8 rebounds at Florida Atlantic (Jan. 15)... Tied a career high with 3 blocks vs. North Texas (Jan. 11), while adding 7 points and 5 rebounds... Returned to action on Dec. 17 vs. Wofford after missing a game with a sprained ankle and totaled 15 points and 7 rebounds in 25 minutes... Set career highs in free throws made (9) and attempted (10) against Wofford... Put the Shockers in front with a go-ahead second chance layup at Northern Iowa in overtime (Dec. 6)... Collected his second double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds vs. Mount Marty (Dec. 2)... Just missed a double-double vs. Colorado State (Nov. 27), finishing with 10 points and nine rebounds... First career double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds vs. Loyola (Nov. 13)... Set a new career high with 15 points vs. Prairie View A&M (Nov. 8) to go with 5 rebounds and 7-of-8 at the free throw line... Tallied 8 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks in his Wichita State debut on Nov. 4 vs. UNC Asheville... Named to the Fall Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

2022-25 (Purdue)
In two seasons as a reserve at Purdue, Berg appeared in 36 games over the last two seasons, making three starts... His first two years in West Lafayette, he gained prime experience going against two-time National Player of the Year Zach Edey every day in practice... As a redshirt sophomore, Berg played in 22 games and averaged 1.8 points and 1.3 rebounds in just 6.1 minutes of playing time... He was 16-for-19 (84.2 percent) from the field... His 84.2 percent shooting from the field is the eighth-highest percentage in NCAA history for players with at least 15 field goal attempts... Through two seasons he has a career field goal percentage of 79.5 percent, the highest field goal percentage in NCAA history for anyone with at least 35 field goal attempts... Thirteen of his 31 career field goals are dunks. He set season highs in minutes (17), points (7) and rebounds (7) in a Nov. 8 win over Northern Kentucky... In 2023-24, he saw action in 14 games and posted 2.6 points and 1.9 rebounds per game, while helping the Boilermakers make it to the national title game, eventually falling to the defending champs UConn.

High School
An under-the-radar recruit, Berg committed to the Boilermakers after turning down offers from Illinois and Utah State... Berg represented Sweden on the U16 and U18 National Teams, and competed in the U18 Nordic Championships.
