Career Summary (2018-20):
Confident combo guard stuffed the stat sheet in two seasons as a Shocker, totaling 583 points, 283 rebounds, 148 assists and 78 steals… Appeared in 68 games with 32 starts and averaged 8.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 23.2 minutes… Made 95 threes on 29.1 percent accuracy… Averaged 6.5 points as a freshman for a team that won 22 games and reached the NIT semifinals in New York… Started 21 times as a sophomore and was WSU’s second-leading scorer (11.1 ppg) while snagging a team-high 47 steals in a season shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic… Transferred to Washington with two years of eligibility remaining.

2019-20 (Sophomore):
WSU’s second-leading scorer (11.1 ppg) also averaged 4.7 rebounds in 24.7 minutes-per-contest… Played in all 31 games with 21 starts… Totaled a team-best 47 steals and ranked ninth on the league leaderboard in steals-per-game (1.52)… Twice earned AAC Player of the Week honors and made one additional appearance on the conference's weekly honor roll… Five-time winner of Gregg Marshall’s “Junk Yard Dog” award – tied for the team lead… Made 78.3 percent of his free throws (65-of-83)… Sank 51 threes on 30.4 percent accuracy (up from .278 as a freshman)… 168 three-point attempts ranked 13th on WSU’s single-season list... Scored in double-digits in 16 of the 31 games and topped 20 points on four occasions... Qualified for the AAC All-Academic Team (3.00+ GPA in 2019-20).
 
Notable Performances:
  • Scored 27 points (including 17 in the first 15 minutes) to lead a road rout at UCF (Feb. 13).
  • Nailed three triples on his way to 12 points to help secure a win over No. 21 Memphis (Jan. 9).
  • Earned AAC Player of the Week for the second time on Jan. 6 after big performances against ECU and Ole Miss.
  • Scored a career-high 29 points with six rebounds and three steals against Ole Miss (Jan. 4).
  • Led the Shockers across the board in the conference opener against ECU (Jan. 1) with 17 points, nine rebounds, five assists, five steals and a block.
  • Tallied a career-high five steals in the Dec. 21 win over (rv/25) VCU.
  • Earned AAC Player of the Week status after the Dec. 14 win over Oklahoma at INTRUST Bank Arena, finishing with a team-high 16 points (4-of-7 from distance) to go with seven rebounds, two blocks and a steal.
  • 13 points, six rebounds in a win at (rv/25) Oklahoma State on Dec. 8.
  • Made the All-Cancun Challenge team and earned a spot on the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll (Dec. 2) after averaging 20.5 points in two games.
  • Matched his career-high with 22 points in the title game against West Virginia (Nov. 27).
  • Scored all 19 of his points in the first half to help WSU build a 19-point halftime lead in the semifinal win over South Carolina (Nov. 26).
  • Flirted with a triple-double in the Nov. 23 win over ORU,  finishing with eight points, eight rebounds and a career-high nine assists.
  • Went 2-of-3 from distance and finished with 10 points and five assists in 26 turnover-free minutes against Gardner-Webb (Nov. 19).
  • Scored 18 of his 22 points after halftime to spark a comeback victory over Texas Southern (Nov. 9). 
2018-19 (Freshman):
  • Played in all 37 games with 11 starts at shooting guard.
  • Averaged 6.5 points, 3.7 rebounds,  2.1 assists in 21.9 minutes.
  • Ranked second on the team with 31 steals.
  • Had eight double-figure scoring games.
  • On a per-40-minute basis, posted the team’s second-highest plus-minus (+3.46).
  • 78.8 percent free throw shooter; was 18-of-20 during conference play.
Notable Performances:
  • Nine points, four rebounds, four assists in NIT quarterfinal win at Indiana (Mar. 26).
  • 12 points, six rebounds, four assists in NIT first round win at Furman (Mar. 20).
  • Collected 11 points and seven rebounds in a 21-point win at Tulsa (Feb. 20).
  • Snagged a career-high four steals against Tulsa at home (Feb. 2).
  • Best conference performance came against SMU (Jan. 30)  -- 17 pts, (3-of-6 from three) and six rebounds in 29 minutes.
  • Scored 18 points (3-of-8 from three) to key a home win over Baylor (Dec. 1).
  • First WSU true freshman in nearly a decade to score 20+ points (21 vs. Rice; Nov. 25)
  • Grabbed eight rebounds against Davidson (Nov. 15) and a season-high nine the following day against Appalachian State (Nov. 16) at the Charleson Classic.
  • Scored 16 points (4-of-6 from deep)  in his collegiate debut against LA Tech (Nov. 6).
High School:
Three-star prospect per 247 Sports and Rivals… Rated the No. 41 shooting guard and No. 193 overall in the Class of 2018 by 247…  Chose Wichita State in June, 2017 over offers from LSU, Utah, Washington and Washington State and was a vocal cheerleader on social media as Gregg Marshall’s staff assembled the remaining pieces of its 2018 recruiting class…. 2018 graduate of Timberline HS in Lacey, Wash. (just outside of Olympia)… Earned first team All-Class 3A honors from the Associated Press, The Seattle Times and the News Tribune… The Olympian’s 2018 Area Player of the Year… As a senior, led the Blazers to a fourth-place finish in Washington’s Class 3A State Tournament (their deepest run since 1981)… Broke Michael Porter Jr.’s state tournament record with 118 points in four games (29.5 average), including 41 in the opener, to take home MVP honors… Also set tourney records for three-pointers (13) and steals (15)… Season averages: 24.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 2.9 steals and 1.7 blocks… Owns Timberline’s single-game (45 points), season (717) and career (1,861) scoring marks. The latter mark was also an all-time Thurston County record… Dunked over the state’s tallest player (7-foot-4 Riley Sorn) in the Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association Class 3A/4A All-Star game, and the video quickly went viral… Earned all-area honors in each of his last three seasons and led Timberline to four state tournament appearances… honorable mention Class 3A All-State as a junior… Also lettered a year in football… Coached by Allen Thomas… Played 2017 summer ball for Washington Supreme on the UAA Circuit under coach Carl Howell and averaged 12.3 points with 39 threes in 14 games.

Born April 28, 1999… Son of Craig and Debbie Stevenson… Father played at the University of Puget Sound then professionally in Europe and Australia… Has an older sister, Rebecca, who played at the Division II level.. Maternal grandfather played baseball at Eastern Washington… Paternal grandfather played baseball for the United States Air Force… Favorite athlete is Vince Carter… Favorite school subject is history… Chose WSU for its winning tradition and style of play... Sport Management major.
