2025-26 (Sophomore)
Named to the Fall Athletic Director's Honor Roll... In the NIT quarterfinals at Tulsa (March 24) he went for 17 points and 7 rebounds in only 16 minutes... Added his second double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds in only 18 minutes at Oklahoma State (March 22)... Scored a team-high 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting vs. South Florida (Mar. 15) in the American Championship title game...  Recorded his first career double-double on Senior Day vs. Florida Atlantic (March 7) with a career-high 22 points and 12 rebounds... Set career highs in free throws made (9) and free throw attempts (11) to finish with 13 points at UTSA (March 1)... Put up 12 points in only 14 minutes in the road win at Memphis (Feb. 26)... Had another strong outing in the win over Tulsa (Feb. 14) with 13 points and 3 rebounds... Recorded his second straight game in double figures with 10 points and 4 rebounds vs. South Florida (Feb. 11)... Poured in a career-high 19 points and 9 rebounds in a road win at Tulane (Feb. 8)... Had his best outing in the win over Memphis on Jan. 24 with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals... Chipped in 10 points and 5 rebounds in the win over East Carolina (Jan. 21)... In his second straight start he logged 9 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists in 25 minutes at Florida Atlantic (Jan. 15)... Made his first start as a Shocker on Jan. 11 vs. North Texas and totaled 10 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals and a block in 29 minutes... Played 16 minutes and totaled 8 points and two rebounds off the bench at Charlotte (Jan. 3)... Grabbed a career-high 9 rebounds to go with 9 points vs. Prairie View A&M (Nov. 8)... Scored 6 points and grabbed eight rebounds in his Wichita State debut on Nov. 4 vs. UNC Asheville.

2024-25 (Freshman / Temple)
As a true freshman for the Owls, Battie appeared in 20 games, making one start against South Florida on Feb. 26... In limited action, he averagd 3.6 points and 1.8 rebounds on 68.3 percent shooting from the field... He was named the American Freshman of the Week after recording a season-high 16 points (5-7 FG, 6-8 FT) and eight rebounds against Monmouth.

High School
Battie was named the Texas 5A Player of the Year as a senior at Lancaster High School, where he led the Tigers to a state championship during his senior season... He scored 17 points, pulled down 19 rebounds and dished out four assists in the title game.

Personal
He is the son of Derrick and Yanika Battie. His father was a four-year standout for the Owls, who appeared in four NCAA Tournaments and helped Temple reach the Elite Eight in 1993... His uncle, Tony Battie, was the fifth-overall pick in the 1997 NBA Draft and went on to play 14 seasons in the NBA.
