Parker Zimmerman is in his first season as student assistant coach at Wichita State. He was a catcher for the Shockers from 2013-14 and hit .245 in his career with 11 runs, 24 hits, six doubles, one home run and 10 RBI.
Zimmerman is a native of Stillwater, Okla., and is working on a degree in exercise science.
