Played and started in 13 games, making six starts in the outfield and seven at shortstop...Hit .238 with 10 hits in 42 at bats to go along with nine runs, nine RBI, one double, a team-high three homers, eight walks and a stolen base...Hit a walk-off single in Wichita State's 2-1 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff Feb. 25...Homered against Texas Southern Feb. 22, Kansas State Feb. 26 and Louisiana Tech March 6...Drove in a season-best two runs three times...Compiled a .346 on-base and .476 slugging percentage.

Was a two-year letterwinner and starter for head coach Jay Meyer at Lee’s Summit West High School…First team all-state as an infielder as a senior…Two-time all-conference first team honoree as an infielder…Ranked 13th overall, and first at second base in the state of Missouri, according to Prep Baseball Report…As a senior, hit .376 with seven homers, 33 RBI and 32 runs…Compiled a .458 on-base and .718 slugging percentage as a senior…In his high school career, hit .354 with 11 home runs, 54 RBI and 52 runs, and posted a .447 on-base and .695 slugging percentage…Helped his team to a 25-5 record and conference championship during his senior year…Also played football, and was a second team all-state punter as a senior…First team all-conference wide received as a junior and punter as a senior.
