Worked his way into the Wichita State weekend rotation in his debut season, making 18 appearances and eight starts...finished 2-3 with a 5.61 ERA over 51.1 innings, allowing 62 hits while striking out 46 against just 12 walks...had just two appearances all season with more than one walk...earned a save against nationally ranked Iowa on February 25 with 2.2 innings of scoreless relief, allowing one hit and striking out three...helped the Shockers to a shutout win over Utah Tech on March 3 with 2.0 scoreless frames...earned his first career win on the road at UAB on March 23, spinning 5.0 strong innings with just one run allowed...retired all six hitters he faced against nationally ranked East Carolina on April 19...spun 2.0 spotless innings at Kansas on May 1...pitched well in a no-decision at UTSA on May 4, surrendering two runs over 5.0 innings...struck out a season-high six batters against Charlotte on May 12...sent the Shockers to the program's first AAC tournament championship game with a solid start against East Carolina on May 25, allowing two runs over 5.0 frames while striking out six with no walks to earn the win...named to AAC All-Academic Team.
