HEAD COACH CHRIS LAMB

The winningest coach in the American Athletic Conference and the 2017 National Coach of the Year, Chris Lamb enters his
26th season as head coach in 2025. With a record of 526-250, Lamb has a career winning percentage of .678, including 12
NCAA tournament appearances and a trip to the 2012 Sweet 16. Widely regarded as one of the most innovative coaches
at the collegiate level, Lamb has led the Shockers to a winning record in 21 of his 25 seasons.

   

ASSISTANT COACH BRIAN HOSFELD

A former head coach at Baylor, national champion at Long Beach State and assistant at Texas, Hosfeld is in his fourth
season with the Shockers. Hosfeld has helped craft some of the best defensive teams in all of college volleyball,
guiding Texas to three consecutive Final Fours from 2008-10. He also has high-level international experience,
highlighted by work with the United States junior national team.

   

ASSISTANT COACH KATIE ZIMMERMAN

A former All-American middle at Wichita State, Zimmerman enters her fourth season as assistant coach in 2025. She was
head coach at Spartanburg Methodist and assistant at Louisiana prior to returning to her alma mater. A positive and
energetic personality on and off the floor, Zimmerman won two conference Coach of the Year honors at Spartanburg
Methodist and kick started the school's beach volleyball program.

   

ASSISTANT COACH ASHLEIGH HOULTON

An accomplished club coach with international experience, Houlton enters her fourth season with the Shockers in 2025.
She was promoted to assistant coach in addition to her duties as Director of Operations prior to the 2023 season.
A former player at Pacific Lutheran University, Houlton coached Club Cactus Juniors Volleyball and Ironwood Ridge
High School in Tucson, Arizona in addition to six years coaching and teaching in South Korea.
