Wichita State Athletics

 

Wichita State consistently ranks in the top 25 nationally in attendance and has led the American Athletic Conference in average attendance every season since joining the league in 2017. With no football program, Shocker Volleyball is the main attraction on campus in the fall.

 

The Shockers have dominated in the friendly confines of Charles Koch Arena. Since the building was
renamed in 2003, Wichita State is 209-69 at The Roundhouse, good for a .752 winning percentage.

The Shocker Sound pep band is present for every home match, and a rowdy student section located right behind the bench makes for an atmosphere that is unmatched in the American Athletic Conference.
