Biography

Junior (2008-09): Finished as the team's leading scorer with 11.2 points per game after vying neck-and-neck with freshman Toure Murry... Also led the team in assists, steals and three-point percentage... Named to the MVC's all-newcomer team, while his scoring average ranked 16th in the Valley... Topped the Shockers 12 times in scoring, including four times with more than 20 points... His 26 points at SIU was a career-high and tied for 17th most in the MVC, while his 10 assists against Illinois State was also a career-high and the fifth most in the MVC... Also had 24 points at Texas Tech, 22 at Drake, 21 at Illinois State and the 26 at SIU... Also had 19-point outings against Siena and Michigan State in the Old Spice Classic...  Named the team's Warren Armstrong Jabali Assists Award winner at the team banquet...His 4.3 assists per game was second on the MVC's overall list in 2008-09... Was also tied for seventh in the MVC in steals (1.3) and eighth in three-point field goal percentage (.405)...His six-for-six effort from the arc against Drake on 1-11-09 tied for fourth in a game in the WSU record books, while his perfect percentage tied for first...Scored in double-figures 20 times, the most of any Shocker...Named Valley Newcomer of the Week on back-to-back weeks Dec. 1 and Dec. 8... For the week ending Dec. 1, he averaged 12.0 points on 42.9 percent shooting in WSU's four games... For the week ending Dec. 8, he scored the 24 points on 8-of-13 shooting  in WSU's game against Texas Tech... Also named WSU Athlete-of-the-Week four times and Shocker Radio Player of the Game six times.

Chipola [Fla.] CC (2007-08):
Led Chipola CC to the most victories and best record in school history at 35-2...Played in the NJCAA Tournament in Hutchinson, Kan., and helped his team to a No. 1 ranking for 11-consecutive weeks... Helped Chipola to NJCAA Region VIII and Panhandle Conference Championships...Set a single-game school record making 10-of-11 treys...During one week, made 19-of-23 shots and 15-of-17 three-pointers to earn co-national and state Juco player of the week honors.

Paris [Texas] JC (2006-07):
Averaged 10.4 ppg and 4.3 assists for Dragons as a freshman...Played with former WSU teammate Ramon Clemente during his freshman season, and helped win the district title...Earned honorable mention All-Region with 10.8 points per game, while shooting 39 percent from three-point range...Ranked fifth in conference play totaling 127 assists.

Holly Springs High School: 
Helped Holly Springs win state titles in 2004 and 2005, and a runner-up finish in 2006...During three seasons, guided his team to a 107-7 record...Named to the 2006 all-State team averaging 19 points, nine assists and three steals per game...Scored 37 points in the state semifinals against Ripley and led the Mississippi high school All-Stars to a victory over the Alabama All-Stars...
