2013 (Junior)

  • Appeared and started in 51 games, hitting .264, driving in 17 runs with 39 hits, 11 doubles and four home runs.

  • Ranked second last season in slugging percentage (.419), runs scored (22) and hits (39).

  • Ranked third in batting average (.264), on base percentage (.333) and runs batted in (17).

2012 (Sophomore at Oklahoma)

  • Appeared in 46 games, starting nine.

  • Saw most of her action as a pinch runner for the NCAA Women’s College World Series runner-up Sooners.

  • Scored 14 runs including one in the first game of the WCWS championship series against Alabama.

  • Batted in two runs on the season including a single RBI against Wichita State on March 9.

  • Stole five bases in six attempts.

 

2011 (Freshman at Oklahoma)

  • Saw limited action, starting 25 games in the infield, scoring 10 runs on the year.

  • Registered five hits, three of those extra-base hits, drove in 10 runs and drew eight walks on the year with all five hits and 10 runs coming during non-conference play.

  • Nine of the 10 RBI and all eight walks were also against those teams.

  • Drove in a season-best three runs against Central Arkansas on March 29 with her first career home run.

  • Drove in one run on against Iowa State on May 7.

  • Went 1-for-5 with a double and two runs scored at the Oklahoma Spring Festival.

  • Went 1-for-3 at the Troy Cox Classic with two runs scored, three RBI and two walks.

  • Opened the year 1-for-3 with two runs scored at the Kajikawa Classic.

 

Background 

  • Played for the Davenport High School Bulldogs in Davenport, Okla. for head coach Heather Gaylord.

  • Earned all-state honors in fastpitch and slowpitch softball.

  • Four-time all-conference selection in fastpitch and slowpitch.

  • Earned conference most valuable player honors.

  • Hit .420 as a senior in fastpitch, scoring 33 runs and driving in 35 on 55 hits.

  • Had five home runs and ended her career with a .490 batting average, 197 runs scored, 280 hits and 162 runs driven in.

  • Team won the 2008 Oklahoma slowpitch state title.

  • Also earned all-conference honors in basketball three years.

  • Hit .321 during summer 2010, scoring 18 runs, recorded 34 hits and drove in 15, and had two home runs.

  • Ali Vandever was born April 28, 1992 in Cushing, Okla. to Mike and Annita Vandever.
