Biography
2023-24 (Redshirt Sophomore):
Freak athlete who can score on the block or from deep… Last name is pronounced Uh-BEE-day... Appeared in 27 games, making one start... Averaged 3.3 points and 1.8 rebounds on 43.6% shooting... Three games in double figures... Had six points and five rebounds vs. #2 Kansas (Dec. 30)... Scored 11 points in only 17 minutes off the bench at Missouri (Dec. 3)... Made his first career start vs. Saint Louis on Nov. 19... Another strong performance, tallying 12 points vs. Friends (Nov. 12)... Scored a career-high 13 points off the bench in the season-opener vs. Lipscomb (Nov. 6) behind nearly perfect shooting (6-for-7).
2022-23 (Redshirt Freshman):
Played in 20 games as a reserve at the four-spot and averaged 2.4 points and 1.4 rebounds in 8.6 minutes while totaling four blocks and four steals... Shot 56% from inside the arc (14-of-25)... Finished the year on an uptick. After appearing just four non-conference games, logged time in 16 of the last 20 while battling with fifth and sixth-year seniors (Gus Okafor and James Rojas respectively) for playing time... Made his collegiate debut in the season-opener against Central Arkansas (Nov. 7) and finished with four points and three boards... Put up a season-best seven points in 15 minutes at Tulsa (Feb. 5) including one of the season's top highlights when he threw down an alley-oop in the closing minutes... With Rojas in foul trouble against SMU (Feb. 12), came to the rescue with season-highs for minutes (31:33) and rebounds (6) in a double-overtime win.
2021-22 (Freshman):
Late-summer addition was originally bound for prep school but signed with WSU on Aug. 18... Practiced with the team but did not see game action.... Won the Shocker Madness slam dunk contest, besting Ricky Council and Dexter Dennis in the last two rounds.

2021 Westover High School graduate… First team All-Class 4A selection by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution after earning honorable mention honors in 2020... Ran with Georgia AC on the summer circuit.
