2023-24 (Junior): Indoor – Competed in seven meets, winning two heptathlons…Opened his season with a heptathlon win at the Shocker Multi with top marks in the 60 meters, 60-meter hurdles and 1,000 meters…Won the heptathlon at the AAC Championships for third-straight year with a season-best 5,568 points, recording the top marks in the 60 meters, long jump and 60-meter hurdles…Took fifth in the long jump with a season-best jump of 7.38m/24’2.25” at the AAC Championships to score a total of 14 points for the team.
Outdoor – Competed in six meets…Ran a wind-aided personal best of 10.58 in the 100 meters of the Wichita State Multi decathlon…Won his second AAC Championships decathlon with a personal-best 7,213 points with top marks in the 100 meters (10.61w) and long jump (7.50m/24’7.25” PB), scoring 10 points for the team…Placed ninth in the open long jump.
2022-23 (Sophomore): Indoor – Competed in five meets, winning both heptathlons he completed…Placed top three in four other individual events…Clocked the 10
th-fastest 60-meter hurdles time in program history, running 8.04 in the prelim at the conference meet…Won the Lindeman Invitational heptathlon, recording the top marks in four of the seven events including a season-best 7.35m/24’1.5” in the long jump…Won his second-straight AAC heptathlon title with 5,641 points, recording the top marks in five events and moving up to sixth all-time in program history…Placed third in the AAC Outdoor Championships 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.08 to earn his second all-conference award of the meet…Placed eighth in the long jump with a jump of 7.10m/23’3.5”…Scored a total of 17 points for the team.
Outdoor – Competed in six meets, winning two event titles…Won the 110-meter hurdles at the Midwest Classic with a time of 14.53…Completed his first decathlon of the season at the conference meet, pushing through injury to place third with 7,064 points and earn all-conference recognition before being forced to pull out of his open events…Ran the fastest decathlon 100 meters (10.82) and 110-meter hurdles (14.36).
2021-22 (Redshirt-Freshman): Indoor – Competed in five meets…Won the heptathlon at the AAC Indoor Championships, recording the top mark in the long jump, high jump and 60-meter hurdles...Set new meet records for heptathlon events in all three…Placed fourth in the long jump and seventh in the 60-meter hurdles to score a total of 19 points for the team.
Outdoor – Competed in six meets…Ran a wind-aided season-best 14.19 in the 110-meter hurdles at the KT Woodman Classic to place third…Finished third in the long jump at the Hayward Premiere…Won the decathlon at the AAC Outdoor Championships with 7,071 points, recording the top mark in the 100 meters, high jump, 110-meter hurdles, pole vault and 1500 meters…Finished fifth in the 110-meter hurdles and eighth in the high jump to score a total of 15 points for the team…Crowned AAC Freshman of the Year.
2020-21 (Freshman): Indoor – Competed in three events at two meets … Took third in the long jump at the Triangular with a jump of 6.98m/22-11 … Finished fifth in the high jump at the Triangular with a mark of 2.05m/6-8.75 … Took fifth in the high jump at the Championship at The Peak with a mark of 1.95m/6-4.75.
Outdoor - Did not compete in a Shocker uniform.
Personal: Born to Marta Fabregat (mother) and Angel Navajon (father) on Jan. 29, 2001 ... Plans to major in Business ... Also played hockey in high school.
