2020-21 (Sophomore II):
Hard-hitting junior college transfer has made an immediate impact in his first season... American Athletic Conference runner-up closed the regular season at 328th in GolfStat’s NCAA Division I ratings… Average score is 0.28 strokes below par (70th nationally)… 71.39 season stroke average was the fourth-lowest in program history and also ranks among the top-100 nationally… Placed in the top-10 at four of the team’s six spring events… Par-or-better in 11 of his 18 rounds, including four in the 60’s… Team-best 77 birdies… Excellent starter; has a first-round stroke average is 69.5… Average Par-4 score (4.04) is third-best in the AAC and No. 54 in Division I, per GolfStat… Finished in a three-way tie for second-place at the AAC Championship (Apr. 23-25), shooting 8-under-par over three rounds at Southern Hills Plantation Club in Brooksville, Fla… Fired a season-low 66 in the first round to grab a share of the lead and followed up with a 2-under, 70 to build a three-shot lead after 36 holes… First Shocker to win the AAC’s golfer of the week award (Mar. 24) after a solo third-place showing at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate in Springfield, Mo. (-3, 210)… He was the 18-hole leader at that event after a first-round 67… Shot 5-under and tied for sixth-place at the Missouri Tiger Intercollegiate… Tied for eighth in his Shocker debut and helped WSU win the GCU Invitational (Mar. 16) in Phoenix, Ariz…. Shot 4-under on the first day of Sam Houston State’s Bearkat Invitational to grab the 36-hole lead but slid to 15th in the final standings... Qualified for the Spring Athletic Director's Honor Roll (3.0+ semester GPA).
