As a Sophomore: Posted a 15-9 singles record in the spring with a majority of his matches in the No. 4 and No. 5 position...Beat Joakim Norstrom of St. Mary's in a thrilling three set match, 6-7, 7-6, 6-4 at the Boise State Spring Break Invitational...Beat Jeff Mullen of Boise State, 6-4, 6-4...Defeated Orphan Spahic of Southern Illinois, 6-4, 6-4 in No. 6 match of the MVC Individuals.

In the fall, won his first match over Hall Fess of Arkansas 8-4 at the ITA Regionals before falling to Brandon Florez of Southern Illinois 6-4, 6-3 in the second round...defeated by Dean O'Brien of Georgia Tech 6-0, 6-3 at the All-Americans...paired with Marinescu at the All-Americans in doubles they were defeated by Warden/Formenta of Oklahoma 8-6.

As a Freshman: Posted a 13-13 singles record and a 14-9 doubles record...played in the No. 2 , 3 and 4 positions.

Born on February 10, 1991 in Constanta Romania...Parents are Iosif and Maria...major is Criminal Justice...Did not arrive to campus until January of his freshman year.
