2019 Fall AD Honor Roll

2019-20: Cross Country - Ran in two races, but only completed one in his first season as a Shocker … Finished 71st at the JK Gold Classic … Did not finish the Emporia State Invitational. Indoor - Ran at six meets for Wichita State … Made the final of the 800 meters at the AAC Championships and finished sixth to put up team points for the Shocker men … Ran a season-best time in the 800 meters at the Husker Invitational with a time of 1:54.53 … Won the 800 meters at the Shocker Prelude … Ran his only 1,000 meters race at the Triangular and finished fourth with a time of 2:35.54 … Took third in the evening section of the 800 meters at the Jayhawk Classic … Also ran the 800 meters at the Gorilla Classic. Outdoor - 2020 season canceled.

Prior to Wichita State: A four-time NJCAA All-American at Iowa Central CC, Obadiah specialized in the middle-distance races on the track…As a freshman he was part of the 4x800m relay team that won the 2018 NJCAA Outdoor title, after finishing fourth during the indoor season…In 2019 he placed fifth as an individual in the 800m (1:54.92) at the NJCAA Indoor Championships. During the outdoor season he was a member of the 4x800m team that finished second at the NJCAA championships. Personal bests: 400m – 50.5; 800m – 1:54.07; 1,500m – 4:10.
